omg, you missed an AWESOME service at Grace today! wish you could've seen how wonderful the stage was set up and the music was jammin, and the message was great....A baby changes everything. My fav singer from the choir sang that song by Faith Hill... before service, I watched the babies in Grace Acres (I've decided to do it every week now because I just adore them and want to serve more!) anyways, today I rocked little Grayson to sleep. When I'm not volunteering with the babies in there, I am so thankful to be blessed with having a JOB that allows me to do that on a regular basis. Babysitting brings so much joy to my life. After church we watched the girls basketball game against Pittsburgh. (they are ranked pretty well) and it was a great game. We went into OVERTIME, but lost by one point in the end.

Well, the semester is over. It flew by! I am overjoyed that I am finally done with Chemistry. I literally screamed as I walked outside after my exam! It felt sooooooo good! :)

I am so thankful for God putting Grace Comm. Church in my life. The college ministry is really kicking off and it's so exciting! I'm having a blast getting connected with lots of amazing people. I signed up for Passion 2010. It's a conference for 18-25 year olds. Everyone keeps telling me how awesome it is and I am looking forward to it. That's on Jan 2-5.

Tonight, we are having a Christmas memory. Myself and 4 of my close friends are going to take some pretty pics together, and go to a concert in Nashville. :) It should be lots of fun! I love those girls and will definitely miss them over the break!

Well, this was definitely an unexpected Thanksgiving!
Tues, my mom got a phone call that we needed to come down to Florida ASAP because my grandpa was not doing well and was in the hospital. He had a stroke, stopped breathing, had to have CODE RED called on him, and all kinds of stuff...so we packed our bags and drove down there about noon on Tuesday. We got down there and they installed a pacemaker. He did better after that, and they finally released him on Thanksgiving. So, we were very grateful that he got to spend Thanksgiving with us at their house. GOD IS GOOD!

It definitely hit me that I'm seriously almost done with this semester and I cannot be more excited!
but it's gonna be a tough few weeks that's for sure.
I have my last regular chemistry test on the 7th, and we present our huge research project presentation on the 9th.
Then, finals start, and I have my last exam, Chemistry on Dec 16th.
you better believe that the WHOLE CAMPUS will here me scream as I walk out of the science building at 12:31 pm.

omg the Diamond Dash was soooooooooo much fun!
I ran the whole time- 2 and a half hours (not non-stop, but pretty close)
We didn't win, but I had SUCH A BLAST doing it!
it was like the Amazing Race which I am DYING to be on that show sooooo bad!
I really hope they do it again next year!

so Friday the 13th was the PERFECT day for my Chemistry Test.
I am just glad it's over and I don't have to worry about it anymore!
IT'S THE WEEKEND BABYYYYYYYY!!!!

I had my friends over tonight for movie night. :) Fun as always!

One of them gave me a website with cheesy pick up lines, and this was one of my favorite...

I finally got the closure I needed.
Steven came over and we talked.
It went really smoothly.
As he was getting ready to leave, I said,
"So we're done, I'm moving on, and if you decide later that you wanna come back and I'm not available...TOO BAD!"
I don't know what came over me, but it felt SO GOOD to tell him that!

I have been in such a wonderful mood ever since!

OMG! Halloween was AWESOME!

First, I went out to Ocharley's for lunch to celebrate my little brother's birthday. (YES, he was born on Halloween...and he's 18 now! AHH!)

Next, I went to the homecoming game with my girls. Had fun, then we ate at Pancho Villa....YUUUUUM!

After that, we all went to my house for a sleepover. We played The Office trivia game and had an Office Marathon. So much laughter and fun times!!

I'm so thankful that we are on the downhill slope for this semester. I'm so ready for Chemistry to be OVERWITH!
I spent FOUR HOURS on an assignment for that class. I have a B on my midterm grade though, so that's GOOD!!! :)
But I will be SO SO HAPPY when I don't have to think about chemistry anymore. ahhhh.

I am proud of myself because I have been keeping myself busy, hanging out with my awesome friends and family!
I went a good few solid days without crying.
I was watching the tv show Greek tonight and Kappy finally told Casey
that he was stupid for not taking the chance to get back together with her
and they kissed and it's all happy for them now, so of course that made me a little upset,
because I wish that would happen to me! But, I know that it's just TV and
God knows what He's doing.
It's still hard though.

I think I aced my math test, my psych test was postponed til Friday, and I had NO CHEMISTRY homework!
I got bombarded with texts, facebook posts, and phonecalls wishing me happy birthday!
Kenny Taylor called me and sang to me when I woke up, Amanda sang to me in the Psych hallway, Grandma, Cousin, and Aunt sang to me on the phone!

Steven gave me an ADORABLE outfit...I was so surprised! He did a GREAT job! and then he took me out to eat wherever I wanted. I picked Don Panchos and chowed down! :) We watched a movie afterwards called Management.
Couldn't have asked for a better day!

last night was great!
Steven and I joined my parents for my bday dinner.
I picked Red Lobster and enjoyed the ENDLESS shrimp! YUUUUM!!
I went to town!!! haha Coconut Shrimp is sooooo good! I also had Terriyaki and Garlic Shrimp. YUM YUM!
It was really neat because guess who else was there?!?!?
Steven's mom and dad!!! :) So the parents finally got to meet each other! YAY!

today is my last day of being a teenager!!!

after my breakdown on Tuesday night, I just thanked God for all that He has blessed me with
and told Him that I know He will help me get through this tough semester.

He is amazing. Wednesday...EVERYTHING good that could happen DID.
My Psych test is postponed so I dont have to worry about
Math and Psych on the same day...and...the real kicker...
we have an opportunity to get up to 10 EXTRA CREDIT POINTS
on our Chemistry exam by helping with this highschool/middle school seminar on Saturday...
YOU BETTER BELIEVE I WILL BE THERE!!! :)
10 points!!! that means I will have an A on my exam!!!!!!!!

this is the 2nd time this semester I have just had to let out a good cry.
i just stress myself out waaaaaaay too much about making perfect grades,
doing everything right, being a good witness for Christ,
being a good daughter-sister-girlfriend-friend-student.

I've tried everything to get rid of them and they wont go away so that makes me cry even more!

I got so much accomplished today and it feels great! I love getting AHEAD on school work.

this weekend went by way too fast.
friday night i babysat an ADORABLE little girl named Maddie.
Saturday was Operation Serve. Steven and I helped with the Block Party out by New Providence. We were at the Knock 'Em Down Cans booth. It was SO GREAT to see him interacting with the little kids. He did a GREAT job! :)
Saturday night I babysat an adorable little boy named Blake. this was the most interesting job I've had because the two older stepsisters were THERE THE WHOLE TIME!! They are 16 and 13! I have NO clue why they didn't just watch him, but I'm not complaining, I got PAID! haha It was so sweet though, because it was the mom's birthday, and the dad wanted to have the whole family watch her open her present from him, so they went to another room so they could share that moment with just the family. I was playing with Blake while the mom was still getting ready (she's always late..lol) and then the dad said it's time to open her present. Then Blake started CRYING when they told him to come in the other room...and he kept saying, "I wanna stay and play with Ms. Kelsey! I don't wanna leave Ms. Kelsey!!!" Isn't that sooooo sweet?!?!?
Sunday I watched the babies at Grace Acres and then went to the 11:30 service. Afterwards I came home, ate, and did school work. I got ahead in Psychology by completing my second journal and got the first paragraph of my history paper completed too!
Then I was off to yet ANOTHER babysitting job! (this one is going to be a regular job!)

only one more week of being a teenager!!!!!!!

wow...busy busy busy.
this weekend was nice!
on Friday, I surprised Steven with a huge HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVEN written
in front of his apt with chalk when he got off work. (and me of course...lol)
we ate dinner at his parents house and Sarah and Chris came over to join us. I LOVE HIS FAMILY!
we ate cake and he opened presents. I got him two Michigan shirts and a magnet. (he loves Michigan football)
Saturday I painted my room with my mom for 5 HOURS STRAIGHT!
it was actually nice spending time with her...and the room looks awesome! I love it!
that night I helped Steven work at Riverfest with his bank. my dad was not exactly thrilled I was working at the Cumberland Bank tent...hahaha. oh well, I can support BOTH of the main men in my life!
Afterwards, I treated Steven to dinner at his favorite restaurant, Longhorns, to celebrate with just me and him.
Sunday, I helped in Grace Acres (there was this ADORABLE little baby that kept smiling and just melted my heart!)
then I worked on Chemistry for a few hours and then Steven and I went to Walmart and rented a movie.
FUN FILLED WEEKEND.

and can you believe that this friday will be our 6 MONTH ANNIVERSARY!?!?!?!!

omg, i LOVE only going to campus Mon Wed Fri.
My online classes are gonna be a piece of CAKE!
The only class I'm really worried about is Chemistry, but that was to be expected.
The professor told the class, "now, I will be the NICEST teacher you've ever had, but it's not likely that any of you will make an A"

OHHHHHHH NO HE DIDN'T!
He obviously doesnt know who I am...haha.
I'm not gonna settle and will work my butt off...
But get this, his grading scale is way different because his class is so hard...
a 82-100 is an A! what the crap! and he said only 5 people made an A last semester.
hellllllllllllllo if it's that hard, why don't you make it easier?!?!?

but whatever, hopefully I can work my butt off and pull an A.

so...I can't believe I pulled a TOTAL brain fart last night. I COMPLETELY forgot about the APSU event that Mrs. Kim invited me to join them before she left for a little while when I babysat last night was DRESS UP ATTIRE...I was so busy yesterday I completely forgot so I showed up in my tshirt and shorts. so...guess what I did???

I wore one of Mary Drake's dresses!!! haha. It was really cute and fit perfectly. :]

It was a nice event and I knew a lot of people. I'm glad I was included. Mrs. Kim kept referring to me as her third child. :) but...one old lady did happen to think Mary Drake and I were friends and asked if I was in 7TH GRADE TOO!!!!!! ahhhh. haha. she said, "oh honey, you will be thanking people for that later on..." hahaahhaha
